報(bào)告摘要：In this talk, I will introduce a new result on a class of symmetric 2-designs which is regarded as a natural generalization of the projective planes in terms of parameters. Let $\mathcal D$ be a symmetric $2$-$(v,k,\lambda)$ designs, where $\lambda>1$ and the order $n=k-\lambda$ of $\mathcal D$ is a prime number. We show that if $G\leq Aut({\mathecal D})$ is flag-transitive then $G$ is point-primitive, and it is of affine or almost simple type. This is a joint work with Dr. Ziwei Lu.

報(bào)告人簡(jiǎn)介：華南理工大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)院教授，博士生導(dǎo)師。主要從事有限群與組合設(shè)計(jì)方面的研究，2007年入選華南理工大學(xué)百人計(jì)劃“杰出青年教師”，2013年入選廣東省高校“千百十工程”省級(jí)培養(yǎng)對(duì)象，在J.Combin.Theory Series A, Europ.J. Combin.,Discrete Math., Designs Codes and Cryptography等學(xué)術(shù)期刊上發(fā)表科研論文80余篇，主持過多項(xiàng)國(guó)家省部級(jí)自然科學(xué)基金項(xiàng)目。
